Traditional Mohair Jointed Teddy Bears With helpful and careful guidance you’ll be able to create your own heirloom bear using fine German mohair. You’ll learn how to sew by hand and fit traditional joints and eyes to create your own special bear which will be cherished for years to come. This is a masterclass in slow sewing; where the process is as important as the result and each stitch is made with care and love. You’ll learn about different fabrics, stuffing and methods and be given the confidence to tread your own bear making path. You don't need any previous experience to join the workshop as you’ll be provided with all the materials and tools you’ll need to produce a beautiful bear. The only stitches you need to use are easy to learn and you’ll be guided through every stage in a supportive and relaxed environment. Places are limited to 6 people so that you can benefit from a supportive and tailored experience. This is an amazing opportunity to create a unique and individually crafted bear which you will be able to treasure for years to come (or gift to someone special). The bear you’ll make has been specifically designed to be able to be made by a beginner but look gorgeous. He is just the right size to be easy to handle whilst learning the essential techniques in bear making.
